Epic Games' Offworld Trading Company: A Frustrating Experience with Technical Issues

As part of the free games offered by Epic Games Store, I recently had the opportunity to play Offworld Trading Company. Unfortunately, my experience was marred by technical issues that made it difficult to fully enjoy the game.

Initially, it seemed like the game was working fine, and we were able to start playing together with some friends. However, things took a turn for the worse when we noticed that random buildings were being constructed without our input, and we couldn't control anything. It wasn't until later that we realized an AI was controlling everything, which added to the frustration.

In addition to this issue, we experienced problems with multiplayer games, where one of each of my friends was replaced with an AI at some point in the game. This lack of transparency and communication from the developers made it difficult for us to continue playing.

I tried to troubleshoot the issues by checking the Epic Games Store, but unfortunately, none of the solutions worked for me. Even loading a save game and trying to access the console didn't yield any results.

Despite these technical issues, I must admit that we did enjoy the game when it was working properly. The strategic simulation of a sci-fi Martian economy was engaging, and the gameplay was cleverly designed. However, the frustration caused by the technical problems made it difficult for us to fully appreciate the game's potential.

Overall, my experience with Offworld Trading Company on Epic Games Store was disappointing due to the numerous technical issues I encountered. While the game has potential, it needs more attention from the developers to resolve these problems and provide a smoother gaming experience.
